At first, I thought the fit was wrong -- too tight around the calf and the leather felt uncomfortable around my ankle. But, having faith in "La Canadiennes" (I have a few), I gave it a chance and I'm so glad I did. Within a few days, they feel just wonderful. They're just about perfect for everyday, yet feel a little extra special -- and that's a rare treat in the middle of a bitterly cold winter!
I recommend them for looks, comfort and durability. They are not cheap, but the quality is very high and I plan on having them for a long time. They have classic lines, yet are a bit more stylish than the photos suggest. They hug the ankle and calf and offer a nice sleek line when wearing skirts. They are warm without being bulky and work well in the city and country. I seldom buy and I choose carefully -- and I am really happy with this purchase.
